This study discusses different structural versions of complex sentences which contain copulative predication. It aims to observe how a dependent clause occupies the position of the subject and the predicative as well as other syntactic features of the main clause in the Bulgarian language such as change of word order, movement of wh-questions, positioning of the complementizers, etc. Furthermore, the article analyzes the so called „controversial“ dependent clauses considered as subjective by some authors and as predicative by others.en_US
