dc.description.abstract | This paper aims to outline the main motifs and problems of the famous poem by Yavorov – “Senki” (“Shadows”). This is done through analyzing the poem as if it is a visual art work rather than a literary one and through tracing the sources of the poem’s allusions back to Western literature. The problematic relationship between knowledge and love is seen as central to the poem. | en_US |
