dc.description.abstract | In this paper, the poem The Life of Saint Alexios the Man of God (Житие светаго Алексия человека божия) (1833) by Konstantin Ognyanovich (1798 – 1858) is analyzed by adopting the methods of diachronic stylistics and pragmatics. Taking into account the analysis of the linguistic and genre characteristics of the poem, I point out some reasons for its recognition as being
the first religious Enlightenment poem in the Bulgarian Revival poetry, which was written due the specificities of the Slavo-Bulgarian type of Bulgarian literary language dating back to the first half of the nineteenth century. | en_US |
