ON THE QUESTION OF THE LEXICAL AND SYNTACTIC LINGUISTIC MEANS OF THE BULGARIAN CONCLUSIVE IN COMPARISON WITH MODERN ITALIAN

Abstract

The object of this study are the lexical and syntactic modifiers in the functional-semantic periphery of conclusivity in modern Bulgarian and their analogues in Italian. The objectives of the study are to provide a brief overview of the most important scientific studies on the Bulgarian conclusive mood, to present the lexical and syntactic markers of inferentiality in the Bulgarian language and to analyze the peripheral functional-semantic equivalents of the modifiers of interest in modern Italian, thereby emphasizing the manifestations of interlingual symmetry and asymmetry.
