In the article the definition “blog” and its main didactic features are defined from the position of computer linguo-didactics. Considered are some didactic methods of using blog’s technology in teaching a foreign language at school and at university, with  consideration of professional teachers-to-be. The author of the article proposes practical approaches for using blogs during lessons and in extra-curricular activities. Special attention is paid to using blogs during teaching foreign languages out of a verbal environment.

Taking a cue from the premise that the purpose of Bulgarian language and literature (BLL) studies is to instil civil competence in students, the present text analyses the thematic potential of a specific aspect of Jordan Jovkov's works. A battery of examples illustrates the theme of communication and language that features prominently in Jovkov's stories thus relating the different classes within the general scheme of BLL classes that are devoted to the Bulgarian literary canon and the communicative nature of the modern world.

The following text attempts to highlight, focusing on one of the controversial aspects of teaching literature – the evaluation of the final exams in Bulgarian secondary schools, comparing it with the international educational standards and showing its logical interdepedence with the aporia of the Bulgarian education system. The title may possibly be a little misleading, because what we have in mind is not exactly the way this evaluation is done, but uncertainties, deformations, institutional intention that the young generation be evaluated " soothingly", although, at the same time, their abilities and needs are shockingly " underestimated“.

The article presents two aspects of dealing with the problem of the cohesion in the textbooks for 5 th -9th grades, and follows the introduction of cohesion in two ways-as a part of a definition of the text and as a part of text’s features. There are comments about the methodical relevance of adaptation of the linguistic information about ways of making a text cohesive. The introduction exposes the need for creating a system and a methodology for teaching and learning terminology of the cohesion of the text. Conclusions have been made about the importance of the problem in question in the conditions of the current language environment. Attention is paid to the educational discourse for developing communicative accuracy of net-generation students which is virtually oriented rather than reality oriented.
